Privacy Policy
Last updated 6 August 2026
Aashirwad Hospital (“we”, “us”, “the hospital”) respects the privacy of every patient and visitor. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you book an appointment or use this website, why we collect it, how we keep it safe, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
We collect only what we need to schedule and honour your appointment:
- Your name, as you give it when booking.
- Your mobile number, and the WhatsApp or Telegram account you contact us from.
- Appointment details — the date and time you choose, the doctor or department, and whether the appointment was completed, rescheduled or cancelled.
- Your language preference (English or Hindi), so we reply in the language you chose.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp or Telegram while booking.
We do not ask for your medical history, test results, identity documents or payment card details through the booking assistant. Clinical records created during your visit are handled separately by hospital staff under applicable medical record-keeping rules.
How we use it
- To create, confirm, reschedule and cancel your appointment.
- To send you appointment confirmations, reminders and cancellation notices on the same channel you booked from.
- To let our doctors and front-desk staff see the day’s schedule.
- To keep our own records of bookings, and to meet legal or regulatory obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
Messaging platforms
Our booking assistant runs on WhatsApp and Telegram. When you message us there, your message is carried by those platforms and is also governed by their own privacy policies:
Please do not send sensitive medical details, photographs of reports, or identity documents over these channels. Bring them to your consultation instead.
Where your information is stored
Appointment data is stored on secured servers located in Mumbai, India. Connections to our website and booking service are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access is restricted to authorised hospital staff and the technology partner who maintains the system. Encrypted backups are taken regularly so that bookings are not lost.
How long we keep it
We keep appointment records for as long as needed to run the hospital’s schedule and to satisfy legal, accounting and medical record-keeping requirements. When a record is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted or anonymised.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with:
- The doctors and staff involved in your care and scheduling.
- Service providers who operate parts of the system on our behalf — our cloud hosting provider, and the WhatsApp and Telegram messaging platforms.
- A payment gateway, if and when online payment is enabled (see below).
- Authorities or regulators, where disclosure is required by law.
Payments
Online payment is not enabled on this website at present. If we introduce it, payments will be handled by a regulated third-party payment gateway. Card numbers, UPI credentials, net-banking passwords and similar payment details are entered on the gateway’s own secure page — the hospital never sees or stores them. We would receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and a reference number.
Cookies and website analytics
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics on it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the site is delivered through Cloudflare; both may record technical details such as your IP address and browser type as part of serving the page, in line with their own privacy policies.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction — ask us what we hold about you, and have anything inaccurate corrected.
- Deletion — ask us to delete your booking details, except where we must retain them by law.
- Stop reminders — tell us on WhatsApp or Telegram, or call the hospital, and we will stop sending appointment messages.
To make any of these requests, contact us on the phone number or email address above. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
Children
Appointments for children and for anyone under 18 should be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for the information provided.
Grievances
If you have a concern about how your personal information has been handled, please write to [email protected] or call +91 755 253 5857. We will look into it and respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
